Anthony Collins Solicitors is seeking a dedicated Commercial Property Solicitor to join our market-leading team in Birmingham (or hybrid). You will manage a diverse and intellectually stimulating caseload, acting as a strategic advisor to organizations that put social purpose at the heart of their operations. From acquiring community hubs to managing complex ecclesiastical property portfolios, your expertise will have a direct, tangible impact on local communities.

Key Accountabilities

Transaction Management: Lead on high-value acquisitions, disposals, and complex leasing arrangements tailored to the unique needs of the third sector.
Complex Advisory: Provide technical guidance on intricate property matters, including development projects, title issues, and trust-related property constraints.
Mentorship: Act as a technical beacon for the team, supervising and developing the skills of junior colleagues to ensure the continued excellence of the department.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their social goals as deeply as their legal requirements.

Your Toolkit for Success

Legal Expertise: Extensive experience in commercial property law with a track record of handling litigated and non-litigated matters.
Sector Interest: A genuine passion for the third sector (charities and social enterprises); previous experience in this niche is highly desirable.
Leadership Qualities: The ability to guide others, resolve complex legal bottlenecks, and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders (e.g., charity trustees or faith leaders).
