About the Role

As a Security Officer at Glasgow Airport, you are the first line of defense in maintaining a secure and orderly environment. Your role is highly active, requiring a mix of physical presence and technical monitoring. You will be responsible for securing perimeters, regulating access to restricted zones, and utilizing advanced surveillance technology to identify potential threats. Key Responsibilities

Patrolling & Securing: Conducting regular inspections of airport buildings, perimeters, and access points.

Access Control: Verifying identification and regulating entry to sensitive or restricted aviation areas.
Incident Response: Investigating alarms and taking decisive action during emergencies or security breaches.

Day Shifts: £20.50/hour (8 am – 6 pm or 8 pm).
Night Shifts: £22.50/hour (8 pm – 8 am).
