King Henry VIII 3-19 School is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated Site Team. You will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety required for our students to learn and thrive.
Working under the guidance of the Site Manager, you will be a “Team Player” who takes pride in ensuring the school environment is welcoming and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Role Overview

Contract: Permanent / Part-time (specific hours as per the school’s cleaning schedule)

Focus: General cleaning and hygiene maintenance
Key Responsibilities

Hygiene Maintenance: Carry out general cleaning duties (including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces) to provide a safe and healthy environment for pupils and staff.

Scheduled Tasks: Follow the school’s specific cleaning schedule to ensure all classrooms, communal areas, and facilities are addressed systematically.

Health & Safety: Adhere to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.

Safety Awareness: Report any site defects, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the Site Manager immediately.

Team Collaboration: Work flexibly with other members of the cleaning and site staff to ensure full coverage of the school grounds.
