Greater Manchester Academies Trust (GMAT) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Cleaning Team. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that allow our students to thrive in a safe learning environment.
Our Trust consists of Manchester Communication Academy, Manchester Communication Primary Academy, and Manchester Communication Research School. Role Overview

Salary: £12.57 per hour

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (Term Time Only plus 10 days)

Working Pattern: * Monday – Thursday: 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Friday: 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Location: Based across two neighboring sites within 2 miles of Manchester City Centre.

Start Date: ASAP (subject to recruitment checks)
Key Responsibilities

Hygiene Standards: Deliver an effective and efficient cleaning service to ensure all areas of the Academy meet health and safety requirements.

Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dedicated team to cover designated areas, including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.

Equipment Care: Use and maintain cleaning materials and equipment safely and appropriately.

Trust Mission: Contribute to the overall mission of providing a high-quality environment that reflects our core values and social investment in the local community.
