About the Role

As the SAP Cutover Manager, you will be the primary architect of the programme’s transition from build to live operations. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the end-to-end cutover strategy, serving as the central coordinator across technical, functional, and data migration workstreams. You will be responsible for orchestrating the “command centre” during the critical go-live phase, leading mock rehearsals and dress rehearsals to ensure a seamless migration. We are looking for a battle-tested SAP lead who can manage the intricate interdependencies of a multi-workstream transformation while maintaining clear communication with executive stakeholders and ensuring business continuity throughout the transition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end SAP cutover strategy

  • Build and manage the integrated cutover plan

  • Coordinate across functional, technical, data, testing and business teams

  • Lead mock cutovers and dress rehearsals

  • Run command centre operations at go-live

  • Manage cutover risks, dependencies and executive reporting

Requirements & Experience

  • Led cutover on large, complex SAP programmes (S/4HANA preferred)

  • Owned integrated cutover plans across multiple workstreams

  • Delivered mock cutovers in enterprise environments

  • Managed data migration, interfaces and SaaS integrations at go-live

  • Transitioned complex IT landscapes into live service

  • Public sector / Higher Education exposure desirable

  • Strong business continuity & service transition knowledge (ITIL awareness)

  • Confident working with executive stakeholders
