Hours & Working Pattern

Working Hours: 29.6 hours per week (roughly 4 days a week).

Key Responsibilities
-
Network Maintenance: Assisting in the management of nearly 2,000 miles of footpaths, bridleways, and byways.

Administration: Handling customer enquiries and reports regarding blocked or damaged paths.

Operations: Ordering and monitoring maintenance works (e.g., clearing vegetation, repairing stiles or bridges).

Field Work: Conducting site inspections to assess the condition of the network and ensuring safety standards are met.

Record Keeping: Maintaining PROW records and using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to map routes.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Skills

Education: NVQ Level 2 OR GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C/4-9) OR equivalent work experience.

Licensing: Must hold a valid Driving Licence for site visits.

IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel). Experience with GIS is a plus, but training is provided.

Language: Ability to speak fluent English (Immigration Act 2016 requirement).

Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage a self-planned workload.
