Acorn Education (part of Outcomes First Group) is seeking a Resourcer to join our specialist Clinical team. Based in our Bolton office with hybrid flexibility, this role is critical to our mission of providing high-quality special needs education and care across the UK. As we undergo a period of significant growth, you will be tasked with finding niche clinical talent and building robust pipelines for the future. Notably, the group is part of the 4-Day Working Week trial, offering you the chance to recharge with extra time off while receiving full pay (subject to probation).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Talent Sourcing: Proactively search for and pool high-caliber talent for senior and specialist clinical vacancies.

  • Strategy & Branding: Reduce agency reliance by raising brand awareness in key markets and developing direct talent pools.

  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers to take detailed briefs and maintain trusted relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Innovation: Review and contribute to continuous improvement projects, trialing new ideas for candidate attraction and social media campaigns.

  • Safeguarding: Uphold the Group’s rigorous “safer recruitment” standards to protect the children and young people in our care.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience using various platforms to identify, headhunt, and qualify candidates for specialist roles.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to craft engaging advertising content.

  • Project Mindset: Experience in identifying areas for process improvement and the initiative to trial new recruitment methods.

  • Screening: Prior experience in shortlisting and conducting initial interviews.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to manage internal stakeholders and understand the nuances of niche recruitment briefs.
