We are looking for a sophisticated, culturally-fluent Relationship Manager to drive growth among Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) and High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients with strong Asian links.

In this hybrid role, you will be the primary bridge between the UK market and our Global Relationship Managers in Asia. You will navigate the complexities of international wealth, managing portfolios for clients with investable assets ranging from $5 million to over $50 million. This is a career-defining opportunity to leverage HSBC’s unparalleled global network, offering bespoke lending, advisory, and investment solutions to the world’s most ambitious individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth: Lead the acquisition and retention of UK-resident clients with an Asian nexus, originating new business through AUM, tailored lending, and advisory services.

• Global Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with Relationship Managers based in Asia to provide a unified experience for clients with cross-border UK needs.

• Specialist Integration: Orchestrate delivery of high-end wealth solutions by collaborating with Investment Specialists, Wealth Planners, and Credit Specialists.

• Portfolio Stewardship: Maintain rigorous contact with clients, ensuring deep understanding of their risk appetite and portfolio performance.

• Market Integrity: Champion the delivery of fair outcomes, maintaining the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets in line with regulatory expectations.

Requirements for Success

• The Expert: Proven track record in managing and acquiring Asian Private Banking clients is essential.

• The Networker: Demonstrable success in building and maintaining internal and external referral networks.

• The Credentialed: CISI Level 4 qualification is mandatory.

• The Linguist: Full professional fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is required to serve our target client base effectively.

• The Strategist: A deep understanding of UK financial markets, the regulatory landscape, and complex wealth/lending solutions.
