Greater Metal Company is a London-based business specializing in the recycling and recovery of metals across the UK. We work with garages, towing companies, and private clients to collect, transport, and process end-of-life or damaged vehicles safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.

Recovery Driver – 3.5 T an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and fast growing vehicle recycling business based in London. We currently have vacancies in our Brixton depot. We are looking for drivers to join on an initial self-employed or employed contract, who either have previous experience in the field, or are prepared to be trained. You’ll be recovering vehicles that have broken down, or have been involved in a crash , so the work is varied and challenging. This is not your standard recovery driving job, every day brings new challenges and experiences and new stories. You must possess a “can do” attitude, be prepared to be flexible, have a serious approach to Health and Safety, be customer-centric in all your activities and must have a valid driving licence. We work from 6 AM- 4PM but overtime and shift work and weekend working is available. We are a team orientated company who loves to help people. Relevant experience and the right attitude will help to improve your payscale with a sign on bonus.

What we’ll do for you:
• Provide ongoing training to increase skills and competence.
• EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE for pay increase after review.
• PAYE option available after 6 Month Review

PAY VARIES BETWEEN EXPERIENCE, PERFORMANCE AND HOURS WORKED.

• 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday and every other Saturday

• £120.00 per day
