A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC). Based in their newly refurbished Birmingham office, this role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing property team known for its collaborative culture and commitment to social impact.
You will step into a busy environment, managing a sophisticated caseload for a diverse client base. This role is ideal for a technically strong solicitor who enjoys autonomy but also values being part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

Caseload Management: Independently run a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and complex landlord and tenant work.

Development Projects: Advise on the full lifecycle of development projects, from initial site assembly to final plot sales or leasing.

Technical Advisory: Act as a lead advisor on complex transactions, ensuring commercial risks are identified and mitigated for the client.

Supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring quality standards are maintained across the department.

Collaborative Support: Contribute to wider team objectives and participate in the firm’s proactive market engagement.
