Requirements and Skills

Qualified accountant with strong leadership, technical and people skills.

Experienced finance professional, preferably with charity sector experience.

Ability to lead a Finance function and ensure excellent financial management.

Experience in stewarding finances, complying with regulations & standards, and managing risk.

Innovative and solutions-focused mindset.

Experience working in a collaborative, business-partnering environment.

Ability to nurture a high-performing team and work flexibly in a busy environment.

Role Overview
As the Head of Finance, you will lead the finance team in delivering the strategic expertise necessary for sound organizational decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring the Fund’s resources are managed with integrity, fostering a culture that adds value and influences the charity’s long-term mission. Based in the London HQ with a hybrid structure, you will act as a vital business partner, balancing technical oversight with the collaborative spirit required to support veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
