Job summary
Join us as a Band 6 Radiographer and become part of our skilled, supportive, and forward-thinking team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. With opportunities across Broomfield (Chelmsford), Basildon, and Southend, you can choose a location that suits your lifestyle–whether city, central, or coastal.
In this dynamic senior role, you’ll work independently and collaboratively, taking on supervisory responsibilities and guiding small teams during clinical sessions. We’re committed to nurturing your professional growth, offering a structured dual-banded development pathway to support your progression into a full Band 6 post.
Our department is fully DR-enabled across all sites and provides a comprehensive suite of imaging services, including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Cardiac Imaging, a dedicated Interventional Theatre, and a refurbished Fluoroscopy suite. We actively support Advanced and Extended Scope practice, including Image Reporting, Radiographer-led CT Colonography, and Upper GI Fluoroscopy. With a dedicated Education Committee and focus groups such as ‘KidRad’, we ensure staff development is meaningful, fair, and aligned to improving patient care.
If you’re enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to take the next step in your radiographic career, we’d love to welcome you to our team.
