Job Summary: P&S Data Quality Analyst

Requirements and Skills

Domain Expertise: Experience in data quality, data governance, or data analysis, ideally within a regulated environment.

Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI.

Governance Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.

Analytical Rigour: Strong skills in identifying data anomalies and ensuring accuracy across large datasets.

Communication: Ability to translate complex data issues into clear briefing papers and dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management: Experience working alongside Data Owners, Stewards, and Risk colleagues to drive governance maturity.
Role Overview
As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be the engine room of the Data Governance Framework within the Pensions & Savings division. You won’t just be looking at numbers; you will be ensuring that Phoenix adheres to strict internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring data quality initiatives, tracking remediation actions, and producing the insights that Data Owners need to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Framework Implementation: Support the embedding of data policies and standards across the business.

Monitoring & Reporting: Track data quality metrics and produce regular or ad-hoc reports to highlight governance maturity.

Action Tracking: Monitor progress on data quality issues and ensure risks are addressed by the relevant stakeholders.

Stakeholder Support: Develop decision papers and briefing materials for Data Stewards to facilitate high-level governance activities.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive continuous improvement in data handling.
Salary and Benefits

Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) + discretionary bonus.
