A leading infrastructure consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a major tunnelling and earthworks programme based in Manchester. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to play a key part in a prestigious project shapin
g the future of UK infrastructure.🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Develop, manage and optimise detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track and report on project progress, ensuring delivery timelines and milestones are met.
• Ensure full compliance with NEC contract requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Engage professionally with clients, contractors and stakeholders to support delivery excellence.
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Senior Planner within major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Demonstrable background in client-side planning roles.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and project controls.
• Experience within tunnelling, earthworks or large-scale construction highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, organisation and analytical skills.
📍 Location & Working Pattern
• Manchester City Centre based
• 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (hybrid flexibility)
