Working within the world-renowned Good Housekeeping Institute, you will lead the planning and delivery of specific projects, ensuring they are profitable and exceed client expectations. Your primary focus will be GH Kitchen Pantry and GH Books, managing these from inception to completion. You aren’t just tracking tasks; you are protecting the GH brand trust by ensuring every deliverable meets editorial standards while remaining commercially viable. You will lead daily coordination, manage the risks that could block delivery, and capture learnings to make the next project cycle even more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage timelines and workflows for GH Kitchen Pantry and GH Books, ensuring all teams are briefed and aligned.

  • Budget Governance: Oversee project costs, manage production budgets, and handle accurate invoicing and revenue tracking in Salesforce.

  • Content Oversight: Coordinate content production across GH channels, ensuring brand quality and compliance standards are upheld.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify “blockers” or risks to project timelines and escalate them to keep delivery on track.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact for external partners and internal editorial/commercial departments.

  • Performance Tracking: Support campaign execution and gather insights to improve future project cycles.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per annum (likely pro-rata for 3 days).

  • Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week.

  • The “Hearst” Perks: Access to legendary office sample sales and the chance to join the GH Taste and Beauty Testing Panels.

  • Wellbeing: Health Cash Plan, mental health support, discounted gym memberships, and a Charity Day.

  • Financial Security: Generous workplace pension, Life Assurance, Income Protection, and Season Ticket Loans.

  • Flexibility: “Location Flex” and Holiday Exchange options to balance work and life.

Application Tip: The “Trust” Factor

Peer Note: Good Housekeeping is built entirely on consumer trust. In your application, emphasize your attention to detail and quality control experience. Hearst is looking for someone who understands that a project isn’t “delivered” unless it meets the rigorous testing and editorial standards the GH Institute is famous for.
