Key Responsibilities

• Set, adjust, and maintain production machinery used for cutting, forming, and assembling metal parts

• Perform fault finding and basic repairs on machinery to ensure smooth production

• Liaise with management regarding production schedules and technical issues

• Collaborate with production staff, toolroom, and maintenance departments to resolve operational challenges

• Work to ISO9001 standards, ensuring quality and compliance

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience operating machines in an engineering or similar environment

• Mechanical knowledge, with understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team

• Effective communication and coordination abilities

• Willingness to work full-time in a busy production setting

Working Pattern & Benefits

• Full-time, permanent role: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30 (11:00 on Fridays)

• Salary: £34,000–£36,000 per year
