What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Execute purchasing assignments consistent with Public Sector mandates and industry standards (such as the Procurement Act 2023 and Sourcing Playbooks) including:

  • Formulating Delivery Model Assessments, Category Plans, and Purchasing Frameworks, frequently within intricate, expensive, or unique classifications.

  • Managing the purchasing process from initial market interaction through to the granting of contracts.

  • Executing productive contract administration and Strategic Supplier Relationship Management.

  • Perform detailed price evaluations to pinpoint saving avenues and productivity gains within the logistics chain. Create and deploy price oversight frameworks that match customer goals and professional standards. Offer specialist knowledge in expenditure oversight and reduction programs.

  • Examine existing functional methods and pinpoint sectors for advancement to simplify Commercial and Purchasing workflows and boost productivity. Create and deploy functional frameworks that match customer objectives and field benchmarks. Direct transition oversight activities to secure the effective integration of updated workflows and tech.

  • Direct customers through the electronic evolution path for their Commercial and Purchasing units, from framework creation to deployment. Pinpoint avenues for electronic modernization, encompassing robotic processes, data study, and high-level tech. Create and execute electronic frameworks that boost functional potential and generate a market edge.

  • Establish and preserve robust alliances with customers, serving as a reliable specialist. Direct assignment units, oversee project schedules, and secure that outputs satisfy customer requirements and excellence benchmarks. Offer coaching and direction to associate consultants, encouraging a cooperative and elite unit atmosphere.

This Role Is For You If You Have

  • Background in the Public Sector (such as Transport, Central Government, Arm’s Length Bodies, or Local Government) emphasizing purchasing, expenditure decrease, functional enhancement, and electronic evolution.

  • Practical background with former public purchasing mandates (such as PCR, UCR) and a profound grasp of the Procurement Act 2023 is essential for this position.

  • Established history of providing effective assignments in a consultancy, specialist services, or industrial capacity.

  • Robust investigative and troubleshooting talents, with the capacity to create information-led perspectives and proposals.

  • Superb verbal and written interaction and hosting talents, with the capacity to sway stakeholders across every tier.

  • Skill in pertinent instruments and tech, such as data study programs and source-to-pay platforms frequently utilized in the Public Sector.

  • Capacity to commute as necessary to satisfy customer requirements.
