Job Overview
This part-time Practice Nurse role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality care within a GP surgery. You will manage chronic disease clinics, treatment room duties, preventative healthcare, and patient assessments. The practice offers structured sessions, flexible clinic times, and strong nursing leadership, making it ideal for ongoing, long-term work.

Key Responsibilities

• Running chronic disease clinics including respiratory, cardiovascular, and diabetes

• Wound care, dressings, and treatment room procedures

• Adult and childhood immunisations if trained

• Cervical screening for cytology-trained nurses

• Health promotion and lifestyle clinics

• Reviewing results, recalls, and maintaining accurate clinical records

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration

• Proven primary care experience

• Confidence running independent nursing clinics

• Working knowledge of EMIS, SystmOne, or Vision

• Enhanced DBS clearance

Qualifications

• Immunisation training desirable

• Cervical smear training advantageous

Working Pattern

• Part-time, regular weekly sessions
