Seven Kings School is a world-class, oversubscribed, all-through school (4–18) in Ilford, renowned for being one of the best state schools in the country. Following an “Outstanding” Ofsted in April 2025, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Primary Assistant Headteacher – SENDCO & Inclusion. This is a pivotal Senior Leadership Team (SLT) role for an energetic leader who wants to influence education at every level. Because our students stay with us from Early Years until age 18, you have the unique opportunity to shape the long-term trajectory of students with SEND, ensuring they leave us as fulfilled, successful adults.

The Role & Strategic Vision

Leadership of Inclusion: Take the strategic lead on SEND across the primary phase, ensuring high expectations and “Quality First Teaching” for all.
Senior Leadership: Act as a core member of the SLT, contributing to the school’s overall vision, raising standards, and influencing policy across the all-through structure.
Professional Development: Lead and grow a large, skilled team of support staff and teachers, networking within our Learning Partnership of 24 schools.
Holistic Achievement: Oversee the identification and effective meeting of needs, maintaining the “extremely strong outcomes” for SEND pupils noted by Ofsted.
