Requirements, Qualifications and Skills
Essential

A degree in geography or a closely related subject.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching geography at Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 level.

A passion for fieldwork, sustainability, and global learning.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable

Experience within an independent or preparatory school.

Experience preparing pupils for senior school entrance exams and geography scholarships.

Enthusiasm for outdoor learning, trips, and residential experiences.

Experience contributing to curriculum or subject development.
