Plumbing and Heating Sales Assistant

Location: Willesden

Salary: £33,000

Hours: 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 6.30am – 3.30pm

As the first point of contact, you’ll be essential in providing exceptional service by offering expert product guidance, accurately handling transactions, and ensuring the trade counter runs efficiently. This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand your product knowledge, build lasting customer relationships, and play a key part in the success of a dynamic, fast-paced branch environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with plumbing product inquiries and provide expert advice.
• Process orders accurately, handle invoicing, and manage payments efficiently.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor and participate in regular stock counts.
• Assist with deliveries to and from the store.
• Handle telephone inquiries effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues.
• Respond positively and promptly to customer needs.

Requirements:
• Solid understanding of plumbing materials is essential.
• Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
• The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £33,000.00 per year
