Expert Analysis
A starting rate of £13 per hour for an assistant role is very competitive in the Slough area, sitting well above the National Living Wage. The seasonal shift pattern (finishing at 4:30 pm in winter) is a rare perk in the hospitality industry, offering a much better work-life balance than typical restaurant roles that require late-night finishes.
Location & Logistics Guide
San Remo Cafe’s Slough location is highly accessible for those with their own transport, particularly with the inclusion of free on-site parking. Its proximity to local business hubs ensures a steady, “dynamic” pace of work, especially during the lunch and breakfast rushes.
