Job Overview
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support Kaleb, a young boy with complex care needs, within two family homes in north Leicestershire. Working independently and following an individual care plan, you will provide personal, social, and domestic support to ensure safety, comfort, and a good quality of life.
Requirements

Ability to work without direct supervision

Willingness to provide personal and complex care

Confidence supporting a non-verbal child with additional needs

Ability to work across two family households

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, comfort, and reassurance

Support feeding via gastric tube and daily routines

Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe handling

Encourage engagement through play, sensory activities, and communication

Support emotional wellbeing on good and challenging days

Follow individual care and support plans carefully
