Job description

We are seeking an experienced PA for a new role based at the Whittle Laboratory in West Cambridge. The main focus of the role is to provide dedicated administrative and PA support to the Regius Professor of Engineering thereby ensuring the efficient and effective management of communications, schedules and documentation in order to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day operations. In this respect, you will be required to provide high-level secretarial support to facilitate the effective coordination of academic, research and departmental responsibilities. The successful candidate will be educated to HND, HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualification or have an equivalent level of practical experience. You will be highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages with previous PA/Secretarial administrative experience. You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills as well as good time management skills with the ability to prioritise a diverse and changing workload.
