Job Description

Process accurate payroll, ensure compliance with legislation, manage HR queries, and support payroll administration efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll

• Use Sage Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments

• Maintain compliance with HMRC and company policies

• Handle payroll queries in coordination with HR

• Process tax, NI, pensions, holiday pay, SSP, SMP, SPP, and deductions

• Manage payroll for new starters, leavers, and contract changes

• Prepare payroll reports and support finance reconciliations and audits

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing

• Strong knowledge of Sage Payroll

• Understanding of payroll regulations and employment legislation

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with HR and finance teams

• Organised and proactive approach to managing multiple deadlines
