Part Time Warehouse Operator

Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Leeds who are looking for Part Time Warehouse Operator to join their busy team.

About The Role:

To ensure that the Unloading, Storage, Picking, Packing, Loading and Despatch of Finished Goods is carried out in a timely and safe manner.

This is a permanent part time position with our client.

Working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 13.00pm

Salary is £12,500 per year.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Check material against supplier’s documentation and purchase order and register in SAP.
• Load and unload deliveries for deliveries and a collection of goods.
• Produce and attach pallet label indicating order number, delivery date, quantity, product number and description for all daily shipments
• Place delivered stock in appropriate pallet location in the correct Warehouse.
• Report low stock items to the Materials Controller.
• Report any nonconforming items to the Materials Controller and Quality Departments by using the Supplier Non-Conformance forms.
• Generate Picking Lists and delivery notes using the companies SAP system.
• Accurately pick orders from stock and prepare them for despatch.
• Check that the correct products are picked against customer requirements and cross referenced against the SAP Pick List.
• Ensure that all finished goods are packed correctly to avoid damage during transportation to the customer.
• Ensure that general housekeeping is maintained to a high standard and that waste is kept to a minimum.
• Ensure that drivers arriving to collect goods have the correct paperwork to collect the required goods, paying particular attention to drivers who report to collect goods of a hazardous nature (ADR).
• Monitor stock of pallets both Euro and Standard and reorder as required.

About you:
• Minimum 1 year experience working within a warehouse and doing similar duties
• FLT License
• Experience working with SAP or similar systems would be a huge advantage
• Experience operating warehouse handling equipment
• Be responsible, organised and can work autonomously
