Job Description

St Edburg’s CE Primary School is situated on the Kingsmere Estate in Bicester. We are a dynamic, friendly and caring school. The team works hard to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children who come here.

We are looking for a Part Time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and professional team as soon as possible. The person appointed will be required to offer support to pupils with special educational needs as well as general support within the classroom. We’d be very interested to hear from people who have had some school experience and are looking to develop their skills and talents further across the school. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant diploma is required as a minimum. We are keen to develop staff and recently have supported staff to use their expertise and interests to advance their career with us.

Our Support Team work in close partnership with class teachers and our SENDCo to facilitate learning including intervention programmes.

Visits to the school are very much encouraged and will give applicants an opportunity to find out more about the role and our school. Please email or call the school office to arrange this which can be in school time or out of hours.
