We’re a small, passionate team delivering fun and engaging Spanish sessions to children in Primary Schools (Reception to Y6) across Sheffield .
We’
re looking for a new tutor with access to a car to run our fun, play-based Spanish after-school clubs in Sheffield.You can start with just a couple of after-school clubs per week and build from there if you like. We’re looking for someone we can grow with.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
• Speaks Spanish and communicate well in English.
• Have the right to work in the UK and lives in Sheffield (or surrounding areas)
• Has a driving licence and own car (this is a must!)
• Is available maybe just a couple of afternoons a week to start (approx 3:00–4:30 pm) with potential to grow!
• Has experience or enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has a cheerful personality — fun, energetic, and positive.
• Can build great relationships with school staff and kids.
• Is independent and reliable — confident working solo.
• Firm but kind — knows how to manage a group while keeping it fun!
Key responsibilities:
• You’ll be running after-school Spanish clubs (typically 3:00–4:30pm), teaching small groups of primary school children (from Reception to Y6) in schools across Sheffield.
• You may also run nursery sessions and lunchtime clubs.
• The sessions are full of songs, games, movement, and storytelling. Be ready to dress up, shake instruments and use silly voices!
What we offer:
• £22/hour (self-employed)
• A friendly Spanish-speaking team who’ll support and cheer you on.
• Full training provided.
• All session plans, materials and training are provided – no planning needed, BUT you’ll need to prepare the classes in advance, bring big energy, and make it fun!
• Flexible hours that can fit around other work or responsibilities.
• Opportunities to increase hours over time (up to 20/week)
Please note:
• This is a part-time, self-employed role.
• A car is essential as you’ll be transporting props, and teaching kit – public transport won’t work.
• Enhanced DBS check required – we’ll guide you through the application process.
