Part-time Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and assisting with food preparation when necessary. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties
• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders while ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
• Assist in food preparation and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Manage tables efficiently, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintaining a balanced till at the end of shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary basics is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player who can help colleagues as needed in the kitchen or dining area.
