Job Description

Provide security at an African restaurant in Sheffield, ensuring guest safety, conflict management, and support for restaurant staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage door and crowd control at all times

• Observe and handle conflicts professionally

• Provide excellent customer service and a welcoming presence

• Support restaurant staff with security duties as required

• Remain alert and professional throughout each shift

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience in a similar role

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence

• Self-employed with UTR number or willingness to register

• Strong communication skills in English

• Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork essential

• Car and full UK driving licence preferred

• Knowledge of African culture or an African language is desirable

Hours & Location

• 22 hours per event (Friday & Saturday, 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

• Work location: Sheffield, United Kingdom, with occasional travel within 1 hour radius
