Minibus Driver (Part-Time, Term-Time Only)
Hours: 5 hours every Monday Shifts: 6:30am-9:00am and 3:30pm-6:00pm | Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We are hunting for a dependable, expert, and approachable Coach Operator to become part of our client’s active school-based staff. Operating within a small collective of 4 or 5 colleagues, your primary objective is to guarantee the secure transit of learners to and from the campus, uphold vehicle integrity protocols, and act as an ambassador for the institution’s principles. A pristine motorist record is essential, and you will be responsible for operating vehicles with a 16-passenger capacity.
Your role:

Securely operate academic transport vans and additional institutional vehicles as needed.

Convey learners to and from the facility while prioritizing their protection and comfort.

Perform routine mechanical inspections and safety audits to confirm the fleet is fit for the road.

Notify the Estates Supervisor immediately regarding any detected mechanical issues.

Document precise trip logs and vehicle data following every transit.

Preserve the interior cleanliness of the coach, especially after completing routes.

Confirm that all riders understand and follow safety protocols, such as securing seat belts.
The person:

Unblemished driver’s license, preferably including D1 classification.

Minimum age of 21 (required for insurance coverage).

Familiarity with the mechanics, upkeep, and safety standards of larger passenger vehicles.

Trustworthy, on-time, professionally attired, and engaging.

Competent interpersonal and written documentation skills.
