Role Overview
We are seeking empathetic, nurturing, and warm-hearted individuals who desire to significantly enhance the well-being of our patrons by joining our West Edinburgh collective as CAREGivers. We prioritize candidates with the character and enthusiasm necessary to establish meaningful bonds with those we serve.
Appointments last at least 120 minutes per patron, during which we assist with social interaction, domestic chores, grocery collection, and similar tasks. For certain individuals, we provide aid with medicinal prompts, routine daily tasks, and specialized cognitive support.
Requirements
No specific background or formal credentials are required to start as a CAREGiver. We provide the necessary guidance and assistance to ensure you flourish and gain confidence in this role. Educational resources are provided to chosen applicants; however, a genuine drive to assist others and a commitment to providing exceptional care are mandatory. You must be dependable, honest, and polite, enjoying the development of expert rapports and feeling at ease conversing with others.
