Job Overview
As a Parcelforce Collection and Delivery Driver, you will sort and load parcels at the Coventry depot, plan efficient routes and deliver or collect items from homes and businesses. You will complete vehicle checks, lift parcels up to thirty kilograms and provide friendly, reliable doorstep service while working twenty hours a week during Saturdays and Monday daytimes.
Requirements
• Full manual United Kingdom driving licence category B up to three and a half tonnes, registered to your current address
• No more than six penalty points on your licence
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to thirty kilograms
• Friendly, reliable and strongly customer focused
• Comfortable working independently on the road and supporting your team in the depot
• Willing to work typical attendance of Saturday from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon and Monday from seven thirty in the morning to five thirty in the afternoon
• Looking for a stable driving career with an ambitious and growing company
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
Benefits
• Starting salary equivalent to twenty four thousand two hundred sixty eight pounds per year based on a thirty eight hour week, pro rated for twenty hours
• Pay increase after six months to a full time equivalent of twenty six thousand seven hundred fifty eight pounds per year, pro rated
