Pharmacy2U
Job Description
Pharmacy2U is recruiting a part-time Paralegal to join its in‑house legal team in Leeds (LS15) on a hybrid basis, typically 1–2 days on site each week. Working 20 hours Monday–Friday (flexible pattern), you’ll support the Head of Privacy and Chief of Staff across a broad commercial and governance portfolio.
You’ll manage day‑to‑day contract work: drafting and reviewing commercial and tech agreements, NDAs, T&Cs, software licences and consultancy contracts; advising internal “contract owners”; and administering the contracts database, DocuSign and legal project tools. You’ll help design approval processes, standard terms and playbooks, and support training and post‑completion governance.
The role also covers compliance and ethics, assisting with Anti‑Bribery and Anti‑Modern Slavery initiatives and supporting the Code of Conduct and Ethics. You’ll help identify, protect and manage intellectual property assets, and contribute to governance frameworks by maintaining legal risk registers and ensuring policies are followed.
You’ll complete periodic reports, monitor external legal spend, support auditors, and keep central records of all relevant contracts and agreements. More broadly, you’ll carry out legal research, draft and review a variety of documents, and provide pragmatic legal support to stakeholders across the business to safeguard the company’s interests.
You should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and bring prior experience as a paralegal, legal coordinator or legal assistant, with strong understanding of contract and commercial law. Excellent communication, stakeholder skills, document management, legal research capability, and confident use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential.
In return, Pharmacy2U offers £28,000–£30,000 FTE per year (pro rata for 20 hours), plus a substantial benefits package: occupational sick pay, enhanced family leave, pension, discounts, health and wellbeing support, blue light card access, paid professional registrations, long‑service rewards, hybrid working, generous annual leave with buy/sell options and extensive CPD.
