Role Overview

  • Position: Nursery Practitioner

  • Working Pattern: Full Time (Mon–Fri, between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm)

  • Contract: All Year Round

  • Start Date: Immediate start available

  • Salary: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Environment & Stimulation: Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating space where children feel empowered to explore and learn.

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that spark creativity and cognitive growth.

  • Observation & Assessment: Monitor children’s progress, identifying individual strengths and maintaining accurate developmental records.

  • Partnerships: Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents and colleagues through effective communication.

  • Personal Care: Support children’s daily routines, ensuring their physical well-being, comfort, and safety at all times.

The Successful Candidate

  • Qualifications: A minimum of a Level 3 Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or equivalent) is highly advantageous.

  • Expertise: A deep understanding of early childhood developmental milestones and the patience to support diverse learning styles.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to build immediate rapport with young children and their families.
