Hybrid working from Liverpool, 4 days a week, £29.6k – £34.4k pro rata.

After 20 years of championing LGBTQIA+ creativity and activism, Homotopia is stepping into a new era, and they’re looking for a Director to help write the next chapter.

If you’re someone who leads with purpose, understands the power of queer art, and knows how to guide an organisation through growth, change, and big ideas, Homotopia wants to hear from you. This is your chance to shape strategy, strengthen partnerships, drive fundraising, and uplift the next generation of queer voices. Please note: this is not an Artistic Director role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the organisation’s strategic development
• Oversee delivery of the NPO funding agreement
• Manage a small core team and freelance contributors
• Build partnerships and relationships across the arts and LGBTQIA+ communities
• Drive fundraising and income generation
• Oversee financial management and budgeting

What Homotopia is Looking For:
• Substantial leadership experience in executive arts management
• Experience working within an NPO
• Strong relationship management skills
• Fundraising and income generation experience
• Excellent financial management skills
• Understanding of LGBTQIA+ lived experiences and queer communities
• A confident, values-led leader who role models inclusive behaviours
