National Major Trauma Registry Co-Ordinator / Clinical Audit Assistant
Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our award-winning Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team. This part-time role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our trauma data at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. You will be a key link between clinical staff and national registries, ensuring that the care provided to major trauma patients is accurately captured and reported to drive continuous service improvement.
Core Requirements and Skills

Recognised IT qualification/ administration/ business qualification or equivalent experience.

High level of skill in the use of Microsoft software packages including Excel and Word.

Knowledge of patient information systems and NHS clinical systems and processes.

Ability to co-ordinate the provision of accurate, reliable and timely data to NMTR using web-based systems.

Ability to use Electronic Patient Records (EPR), PAS, CHRIS, PACS, ORMIS, HIS and A&E IT systems.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently without direct supervision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss data queries with the Trauma Team.

Ability to interpret and present data clearly and produce high-quality reports.

Compliance with the Data Protection Act and information governance standards.

Speak English with confidence and accuracy, using correct sentence structures and vocabulary.
