About the Role

I Need Staff Today Limited are recruiting a warm, reliable and responsible Nanny to support a private family in the Wolverhampton area. The role involves caring for a young child in their home environment, supporting daily routines, and providing a safe, nurturing and engaging atmosphere.

Working hours are flexible and will be arranged directly with the family depending on their weekly schedule. This position is ideal for someone looking for a stable part-time or variable-hours childcare role with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing attentive, high-quality childcare within the family home
• Supporting daily routines including meals, playtime, homework, and bedtime (where required)
• Planning age-appropriate activities to encourage development and learning
• Ensuring a safe and caring environment at all times
• Light household duties related to the children (tidying play areas, preparing snacks, organising clothing)
• Escorting children to activities, school runs, or appointments if needed
• Communicating clearly with parents about schedules, routines, and any concerns

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:
• Have previous experience working as a nanny, childminder, or in a childcare setting
• Be kind, patient, reliable and confident working independently
• Be able to provide references covering recent childcare experience
• Hold a valid enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Preferably hold a driving licence (advantage, not essential)

Paediatric First Aid is desirable, and training can be supported if required.
