Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Mobile Tutor to provide personalized, in-home academic support to students across Sharjah. This is a full-time position requiring travel to various student locations, focusing on core subjects like English, Science, and Maths. The role offers a dynamic schedule with paid travel time between sessions and a transportation allowance. Work Schedule & Hours • Workload: Full-time, 8-9 hours per day, 5 days per week. • Daily Schedule: Monday – Thursday: Afternoons and evenings. Shifts begin after school hours, with the last session typically ending between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Sunday: 12:00 PM (Noon) – 9:00 PM. • Days Off: Friday and Saturday. • Breaks: Includes a 1-hour break per day. • Flexibility: Please note that the schedule and days off may be adjusted as needed, particularly during peak examination months, to accommodate student bookings. Key Responsibilities • Travel to students’ homes within Sharjah to conduct individual tutoring sessions. • Teach core subjects including English, Science, and Maths. • Be prepared to teach other subjects as required based on student needs. • Manage a schedule of 4 to 7 students per day, depending on bookings. • Deliver high-quality, 1.5-hour (90-minute) tutoring sessions per student. • Allocate 1-2 hours per day for administrative duties and lesson preparation. • Assist with additional administrative tasks during periods when the tutoring calendar is not fully booked. • Other key essential responsibilities include lesson planning, assessment, resourcing, parent communication, children’s safety Travel & Compensation • Paid Travel Time: Time spent traveling between student locations is included as part of your 8-9 hour paid workday.
