Position : Medical Records Team Leader (MLS)
Medical Law Service, part of Fletchers Solicitors group, is seeking a Team Leader to join our growing team. The role involves managing and leading a small number of regional teams, supporting all legal teams within the group, requesting medical records, processing incoming bundles, instructing cases for pagination, ensuring SLAs are maintained and all cases are processed in a timely professional manner, while reporting to the Medical Records Manager.

Main Responsibilities
• Ensure team processes medical records requests expediently and all SLA’s are maintained
• Conduct QA of cases to ensure processes are followed and records are complete before sending to the pagination team
• Monitor & manage team performance against KPI’s and Product Delivery SLAs, reviewing and discussing performance MI with the Medical Records Manager
• Ensure all medical records are processed and uploaded to the Case Management system in line with team SLA
• Archive and locate stored media, ensuring the policy for handling data is followed
• Mentor team members through monthly 1‑2‑1s and reviews as necessary
• Oversee balanced case allocation across supervised teams
• Highlight training and development needs across the teams
• Ensure team remains compliant by conforming to established operational regulation

• Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
• Ability to work as a team member and remotely
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Experience of Proclaim or other software tools such as Adobe, Microsoft
