Job Title: Mealtime Supervisor
Salary: £5,382.72

Hours: 7.5 hours per week (11.45 – 1.15pm) Term Time Only
Contract: Part Time, Permanent Contract
Location: ST ANDREWS CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, TOTTERIDGE VILLAGE, LONDON, BARNET, N20 8NX

About the School:

We are a one form entry Church of England school for children aged 4-11 who come from diverse backgrounds in and around Barnet Our recent Church of England SIAMS inspection November 2024 noted “The school’s vision helps to cultivate a warm and caring community where people are treated extremely well. This is because people are challenged to value the talents of others. There are strong relationships within the school, and this is of high priority. Leaders prioritise pupil and staff wellbeing”.

What you will be doing:
• To supervise the welfare and safety of children in the dining hall, playground and school premises during the school lunch break
• To supervise the entrance and exit of children from the dining area(s)
• To set up and lay the tables for lunchtimes and to wipe trays in dining hall
• To carry out associated ancillary duties such as clearing up spillages in accordance with school procedures
• To deal with and record minor incidents/accidents and refer to qualified first aiders where appropriate
• To check packed lunch boxes for allergy related items, such as nuts
• To be aware of any child’s specific dietary needs, such as allergies, intolerance, cultural o

The St Andrew’s CofE Primary School, Totteridge, N20 8NX, is legally obligated to process an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts.
