Primary Responsibilities

Analyzes and executes Sales Order information and quote inquiries, establishing delivery commitments, official confirmations, and timelines as needed.

Reviews and interprets Production Forecast analytics, suggesting manufacturing starts when suitable.

Operates and manages MRP systems, evaluating outputs and transforming planned requirements into purchase requests or active orders.

Evaluates Inventory metrics across all warehouse sites, suggesting inventory adjustments, strategic procurement, and management of obsolete or slow-moving stock.

Manages and revises SAP Master data related to logistical operations as required.

Offers guidance, assistance, and professional mentoring to junior staff within the materials planning department, modeling industry-standard practices.

Participates in the development of Local and Global Supply Chain initiatives, suggesting ways to simplify and enhance workflows.

Authorizes and implements relevant Engineering Change Requests and temporary deviations.

Modifies Bills of Materials (B.O.M.s) and manufacturing routings as necessary.

Assists New Product Development teams by inputting production requirements and coordinating with project partners.

Plans Surface Mount (SMT) production cycles in accordance with demand and throughput constraints.

Monitors SMT requirements, available capacity, and actual production results.

Manages the weekly review cycle for active contracts.

Monitors and provides monthly reports on net order intake.

Coordinates the yearly physical inventory audit.

Oversees the accuracy of delivery schedules within the SAP environment.

Proven background in planning (or a comparable blend of education and professional experience) within a high-variety, low-to-medium capacity manufacturing setting.

Comprehensive grasp of modern Supply Chain methodologies and industry standards.

Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, MRP systems, and SAP.

Experience operating within a KPI-driven environment and performance tracking.
