We’re growing — and now we’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to help us build brand visibility, generate leads, and keep our messaging sharp and consistent.

The Role

As our Part-Time Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day marketing activity, content creation, and supporting business growth. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone who’s organised, self-motivated, and confident in running marketing tasks independently — but who also enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
• Help manage and update the company website, blog and projects
• Produce marketing assets (images, flyers, case studies) using Canva or similar design tools
• Run email campaigns and newsletters to customer lists
• Track marketing performance and provide ROI reports (social media and Google analytics)
• Research local trends, competitors, and opportunities for local PR or collaborations
• Support promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and event planning where needed
• Help maintain consistent branding across all touchpoints
• Community outreach events / business EXPO’s
• Customer reasearch/feedback – through email and over the phone
• Internal employee focused newsletter – quarterly
• Other admin duties as required by the business

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in marketing, communications, or a creative content role (freelance or employed)
• Strong writing skills and an eye for visual content
• Confident communicator – speaking to people asking probing questions
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, or similar
• Able to work to independently, manage your own time, and deliver to deadlines
• A proactive, flexible mindset and a willingness to learn more about our trade and services
• Knowledge of the trade/construction sector (desirable, not essential)
