Job Description

  • Execute and oversee a variety of general upkeep assignments, encompassing plumbing, electrical systems, telecommunications, heating, woodworking, and interior painting.

  • Perform regular walkthroughs of the facility and machinery to address fundamental repair and service needs.

  • Examine building frameworks and assets to conduct both reactive fixes and scheduled preventative maintenance.

  • Deliver services with maximum professional discretion, ensuring minimal disturbance to residents and visitors.

  • Seek active ways to enhance the physical comfort of everyone on the premises.

  • Maintain a forward-thinking “can-do” mindset when addressing requests and technical hurdles.

  • Manage basic technical fixes; direct and monitor third-party contractors to ensure they adhere to corporate protocols and service contracts.

  • Set up, examine, and resolve issues within systems, appliances, and technical hardware.

  • Service and swap out climate control and distribution components as necessary.

  • Partner with and oversee external service providers during specialized work phases.

  • Help maintain administrative logs and daily records of all asset repairs and maintenance activities.

  • Adhere strictly to Accor’s specific directives regarding Legionnaires’ disease prevention.

  • Implement all hotel safety and emergency protocols, including fire safety.

  • Support the hotel’s “Environment Charter” through energy conservation, waste sorting, and recycling initiatives.

  • Contribute to the security of individuals and the facility by keeping emergency exits unobstructed.

  • Take ownership of spotting operational risks and suggesting areas for improvement.

  • Engage in relevant training programs to sharpen your technical proficiency.

  • Monitor and report on maintenance inventory and stock levels.
