Role: Lounge Services Team Member Host (Part-Time)

Summary

Swissport, under the award-winning Aspire Executive Lounges brand, is looking for a versatile Lounge Host to join the team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA). With over 35 years of hospitality excellence, Aspire serves 5 million customers annually across 80 global lounges. As a Lounge Host, you are the face of “the perfect start” for travelers, ensuring they feel Welcome, Relaxed, and Energized before their flight.

Core Responsibilities

Reception & Guest Relations:

Provide a warm greeting, manage an efficient check-in process, and handle peak-time capacity to ensure guest throughput. Act as an information hub for lounge facilities and departure details.
Food & Beverage Management:

Prepare and present sessional menus (including meat, vegetarian, and vegan options). Maintain self-service and bar areas, engage with guests while serving drinks, and provide accurate allergen information.
Lounge Environment & Upkeep:

Proactively clear and clean tables, maintain high organizational standards throughout the lounge, and assist with back-of-house tasks like stock rotation, dishwashing, and recycling procedures.
Team Collaboration:

Report to the Team Leader and work cross-functionally to exceed guest expectations, following all local leadership directives and safety protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Hospitality Background:

Previous experience in a high-interaction customer service or hospitality environment.
Skilled Communicator:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
Detail Oriented:

Strong numerical skills for payment processing and an eye for presentation and hygiene standards.
Flexible & Motivated:

Able to work shifts between 03:30 – 21:00, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
