Role Overview

This position is responsible for:

  • Recruiting a Treaty Reinsurance Broker to integrate into our specialized Japan unit in London.

  • Collaborating with partners and customers on a diverse range of Japanese Treaty reinsurance portfolios, primarily focusing on Property and various Specialty Lines.

  • Delivering expert guidance to clients and teammates regarding placement architecture, accessible indemnity and volume, projected costs, prospective policy refinements, and general market evolution.

The role holder will be required to contribute to the creation and presentation of market-facing materials and the formulation of overarching broking tactics. Identifying the most suitable avenues for risk distribution based on customer security protocols and specific needs is essential, utilizing market leverage to obtain optimal terms.

Negotiating the specific clauses and requirements of placements across global hubs—including Bermuda, Singapore, Europe, and the Lloyd’s market—is a core duty. Additionally, the individual must operate strictly within the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and adhere to all corporate compliance mandates and risk management policies.

Regulatory Status
