SANGHVI CORP

Job description

SANGHVI CORP is looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our international medical device team in Manchester. Serving the NHS, this role is critical to ensuring that life-saving equipment and kits reach healthcare providers on time. You will be at the heart of our supply chain, managing the flow of goods in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. If you have a background in “Goods In / Goods Out” and kit booking—particularly within a regulated industry—this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while supporting the UK’s frontline healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily activities across warehousing, logistics, and distribution to ensure a seamless supply chain.

  • Inventory & Kit Management: Oversee stock levels, kit booking, and timely replenishment to avoid service disruptions for the NHS.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to medical device regulations, Health & Safety standards, and ISO quality systems.

  • Supplier Liaison: Work directly with suppliers and service providers to maintain high quality and delivery standards.

  • Process Improvement: Monitor operational KPIs and identify ways to drive efficiency and cost savings.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, sales, and service teams to ensure unified business operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven background in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics roles. Experience with “Goods In / Goods Out” and kit management is essential.

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a medical or highly regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals or aerospace) is strongly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP or stock management systems.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Compliance: A solid understanding of quality management systems and compliance frameworks.

What We Offer

  • Growth Potential: A competitive package with clear career development opportunities in the expanding healthcare sector.

  • Impactful Work: The chance to work within a supportive team that directly services the NHS.

  • Stable Industry: The security of working in a highly regulated, essential global industry.

Professional Landscape

Working in healthcare logistics involves navigating complex compliance requirements. According to the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT):

  • Efficiency: Logistics in the medical sector often requires “just-in-time” delivery models to ensure hospital theatre lists remain uninterrupted.

  • Regulations: Adherence to MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) guidelines is often a critical component for companies servicing the UK healthcare market.
