Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA Trinity House Academy

Hull Trinity House Academy is looking to appoint a HLTA to join our academy in January 2026 on a full‑time, permanent basis.
Overview

As a HLTA, you will complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
• Supervise whole classes during the short‑term absence of teachers.
• Provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy to raise standards of achievement for all, utilising advanced knowledge and skills in planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes and encouraging independent learning.
• Support pupil welfare and inclusion in all aspects of academy life.
