Job Description
Help club members get the most from their fitness and leisure time as a Leisure Assistant at Village Hotels Liverpool. You’ll keep the gym, studios and poolside pristine, support safe swimming, and add those friendly touches that make every visit feel special.
Role Overview
Based at the Liverpool – Whiston club, you’ll work full-time across a flexible rota. Your focus will be on maintaining spotless, safe leisure areas, keeping equipment and pool facilities in top condition, and supporting lifeguard duties, including being ready to perform rescues when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across poolside, gym floor, studios and changing areas
- Check equipment, supplies and public areas regularly, responding quickly to issues or spillages
- Monitor the pool area, following safety procedures and acting swiftly in emergencies or rescues
- Support members with basic queries, directions and facility information, always offering a friendly welcome
- Work to hygiene, health and safety and company standards, completing any required checks or logs
- Flag maintenance issues promptly to the relevant team to keep facilities operating smoothly
