The Kingsway School in Gatley is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Inclusion Assistant (LSIA) to join our expanding Inclusion and Diversity (SEND) Department. Details of the Role

Support high-quality teaching and learning for students aged 11–16 with a range of additional needs, working across mainstream lessons and targeted interventions.

Deliver small-group and individual support, contributing to assessment and review processes.

Work closely with teachers, families and the wider SEND team to remove barriers to learning.

Support a strong universal offer alongside a Resource Base supporting students with more complex needs.

Join a collaborative team of experienced professionals who meet regularly to plan, review and refine support.

Be patient, proactive and ambitious for young people, with strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.
About the Role
As an LSIA, you will play a vital role in removing barriers to education for students aged 11–16, providing both in-class assistance and targeted small-group interventions. You will be an active participant in our collaborative planning sessions, working alongside our SENDCO and teaching staff to refine support strategies and track student progress.
